Call For Content – Real World Retail AI Case Studies

AI is revolutionizing the way retailers operate, from optimizing supply chain management to enhancing
customer experiences. To provide our members with valuable insights and actionable knowledge, we are
seeking real world case studies that illustrate areas of AI implementation in retail. Some potential examples
include the following:

  • Customer Engagement: Share how AI-driven personalization, chatbots, or recommendation
    engines have improved customer engagement and sales.

  • Inventory Management: Demonstrate how AI algorithms have optimized inventory levels, reduced
    costs, and minimized stockouts.

  • Pricing and Promotions: Identify how retailers are using AI to perform price optimization,
    promotion analysis, and dynamic pricing.

  • Loss Prevention: Highlight AI solutions that have been effective in detecting and preventing theft or
    fraud in retail environments.

  • Supply Chain Optimization: Explain how AI is being used to streamline supply chain operations,
    reduce lead times, predict returns, and enhance overall efficiency.

  • Visual Recognition: Showcase AI applications in visual recognition, such as cashier-less stores or
    shelf monitoring.

Solution providers with any application of AI in retail are encouraged to submit case studies.

Submission Guidelines:

Please consider the following guidelines when submitting your case study:

  • Content Format: Submissions should be in PDF format, including text, images, and any relevant
    data visualizations.

  • Length: Case studies should be between two and five pages though shorter and longer submissions
    will be accepted.

  • Graphics: High-resolution images, charts, or graphs that support the case study are encouraged.

  • Author Bio: Include a brief author bio (100 words) along with contact information.

  • References: Case studies must cite specific retailer or direct-to-consumer brand names, the success metrics that they achieved, and have their permission to do so.

  • Deadline: The submission process is current and ongoing. Industry Partner members are encouraged to submit early and often.

Review and Selection Process:

All submitted case studies will undergo a thorough review process by our editorial team. Selection will be
based on the relevance, clarity, uniqueness, and impact of the AI implementation described in the case study.

Publication and Recognition

Selected case studies will be featured on the Retail AI Council website (https://RetailAICouncil.com) which will
reach a national audience of retail industry professionals and industry partners. Select case studies will be
highlighted in the Retail AI Council newsletter. Authors of accepted case studies will be credited and
acknowledged.
